PALISI 2024 Spring meeting update


The PALISI Spring Meeting Dates have changed to Wednesday, February 28th to Saturday, March 2nd. On Wednesday we will host the Clinical Research Course, along with other pre-meeting subgroups, ending with the day with our traditional welcome reception. The meeting will end by noon on Saturday, March 2nd. Meeting registration is currently open and available at https://www.palisi.org/events/palisi-spring-meeting-2024. The new room rate will be $219 plus taxes and fees. The hotel booking link will be made available in the coming weeks and will remain open through February 1st while availability lasts. For the most up-to-date spring meeting information, please continue to check https://www.palisi.org/springmeeting24.

Please submit your agenda request at https://www.palisi.org/agendarequests by December 20th, for priority consideration. The final deadline for all requests is January 20th.



 

PALISI’s Clinical Research Course


Are you a junior investigator interested in developing your research skills from leading scientists in the field of pediatric critical care? Join us for PALISI’s Clinical Research Course on February 28, 2024 from 8am-5pm. This one-day intensive workshop is designed to expose junior investigators to key components of a research career and develop connections in the PALISI community. Topics will include developing your research career, cultivating mentorship and collaborations, strategies for your professional success and more!

2023-2024 Membership Dues

 

Emails have been sent to all members who attended the Fall 2023 meeting, who have not initiated the membership dues process for this fiscal year. If you have received an email, please respond using the instructions in the email as soon as possible. If you need assistance or if you have a question regarding your membership status, please email admin@palisi.org.


 

PALISI Communications Update:

As we strive to enhance our communication with our valued members, we would like to provide you with some crucial updates and reminders regarding PALISI communications.

Monthly Member's Digest:

PALISI will be sending out a monthly email to all members on the second Monday of each month. To ensure you receive these updates, please subscribe to our mailing list by visiting our website at PALISI.org. Additionally, if you have any information that you would like to share in the monthly digest, please make sure to submit it to Ann-Marie Bown (Direct Email: ann-marie.brown@emory.edu) by the 1st day of the month. You can easily submit your contributions at www.palisi.com/communications

PALISI Emails Troubleshooting:

If you are not receiving PALISI emails, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

  • Subscribe at PALISI.org and be sure to open PALISI emails to remain on the active list.

  • Add the "palisi.org" domain to your safe sender's list in Microsoft Outlook.

  • If you continue to experience difficulties, please submit an IT ticket to your institution requesting approval for emails from the "palisi.org" domain.

  • Consider subscribing with a non-institutional email address, such as Gmail or Yahoo, to ensure uninterrupted communication.
