Clinical Research Course (Fall 2023)

Special Notes: 

Congratulations on deciding to participate in the upcoming PALISI Clinical Research Course. To help

us optimize your experience, please answer all of the questions on the registration form.

There are several opportunities for participation in the CRC. These are great ways to connect with

established researchers in PALISI while getting great feedback on your projects. First, we will have

an interactive session on presenting scientific data followed by small group discussion about YOUR

difficult to present data. We STRONGLY encourage all participants to bring a poster or examples

how you present your data.

Another opportunity is to submit a Specific Aims page for personal review by established PALISI

faculty. This is a great opportunity to get feedback and connect to like-minded researchers.

Everyone is welcome to submit a proposal. If you are or plan to apply for grant funding and this is

your second CRC, we STRONGY suggest submitting a Specific Aims page.

For attendees with established projects, we offer an opportunity to present in the Junior Investigator

Showcase. This a great opportunity to get feedback on your presentation, project, and present in the

main PALISI meeting! Many people can apply to present at the CRC and a few are chosen to

practice at the CRC. After that, one person can get time in the main meeting to present their work to

the entire PALISI group.
