Fall Meeting 2026 Updates

Featured Guest Speaker: Dr. Mark Peters

We are pleased to welcome Professor Mark Peters as a featured guest speaker at the PALISI Network Spring Meeting 2027. Dr. Peters is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric intensive care medicine. He has served as a Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 1999, Professor of Paediatric Intensive Care at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health since 2015, and a Consultant for the Children's Acute Transport Service since 2001.
His research has helped shape the field of pediatric critical care as Chief Investigator for major multicenter studies including SCARF, FEVER, and Oxy-PICU, and Co-Chief Investigator for GASTRIC-PICU. Professor Peters also holds an appointment within the Department of Infection, Immunity & Inflammation at University College London, where his work continues to advance the understanding and treatment of critically ill children. Additional details about Professor Peters' presentation will be announced as the meeting program is finalized.

Save the Date: PALISI Network Spring Meeting 2027

We're excited to announce that the PALISI Network Spring Meeting 2027 will take place Tuesday, March 30 – Friday, April 2, 2027, at the beautiful Loews New Orleans Hotel in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana.
This meeting will bring together the pediatric acute lung injury and sepsis research community for four days of scientific collaboration, networking, subgroup meetings, and discussions that advance pediatric critical care research.
Important Format Change
Please note that the Spring Meeting schedule format will differ from previous meetings, with main meeting activities beginning at 7 am on Tuesday, March 30th. The meeting will conclude with subgroup meetings only on Friday, April 2, with programming ending by 12:00 PM, allowing for afternoon travel home.
Traditional Welcome Day Format: 7am-5pm Subgroups and Special Programming

More information regarding the full agenda, Clinical Research Course, and other meeting events will be shared in the coming months. To ensure you don't miss any parts of the meeting, we strongly encourage all attendees to arrive in New Orleans on the evening of Monday, March 29th, and depart on Friday, April 2nd after 12 pm.
