PALISI Approved Survey: Trends in the practice patterns and perceptions of secondary hyperinflammatory disorders in the pediatric ICU

Hello,
My name is Justine Oman. I am a PICU attending from Northwell Health/Cohen Children’s Medical Center and conducting a survey research study regarding perceptions of hyperferritinemic sepsis.
Thank you for your interest in our survey. We would like to tell you everything you need to think about before you decide whether or not to join the study. It is entirely your choice. If you decide to take part, you can change your mind later and withdraw from the research study by not submitting the survey.
1) The purpose of this study is to survey a large portion of the national pediatric workforce to obtain data about their perceptions regarding sepsis.
2) This survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.
3) If you continue and agree to participate, you will be asked to answer anonymous survey questions about your practice setting and your perceptions and practices regarding the diagnosis and management of hyperferritinemic sepsis.
4) No identifying information will be collected, and the data will be reviewed in aggregate.
5) This study is not intended to benefit you directly, but we hope this research will benefit the field of pediatric critical care medicine and allow us to standardize diagnostic and management practices.
