Fall 2026 Meeting Agenda Posted


The Final Draft Agenda is now posted on the PALISI website. Please note that the agenda is subject to change to meet PALISI member needs. You can access the agenda by clicking here!



Meeting Registration Deadline: August 19th


Now is the time to double-check that you have sufficient credits in your institutional Morweb account (www.palisi.org -> click on “Member Portal") to cover all the attendees at your institution, in-person or virtual, trainees or faculty or others. On-time registration ensures we are able to address any complications, allows our administrative organization to function optimally and enables us to produce the best meeting possible. Let us know if you have any issues with registration, payments, invoices, or membership management for new or old members at admin@palisi.org



Hotel Room Block Update – Fall 2026 Meeting



The deadline for the PALISI Room Block has passed; however, we are still assisting members on a case-by-case basis. If you need assistance with a room reservation, please submit your request at https://www.palisi.org/hotel-assistance




Office Hours at the Spring PALISI Meeting


Office Hours will once again be offered during the Fall PALISI Meeting, providing attendees with dedicated time for one-on-one guidance and support. 


NICHD Virtual Office Hours with Dr. Robert Tamburro

An opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance related to NICHD priorities, processes, and engagement.


Administrative Office Hours with Anyssa Queen

Support is available for general PALISI inquiries, Member Portal assistance, subgroup website support, and special administrative requests.


Sign-Ups for all Office Hours will be available at the Registration Desk beginning on September 9th



Fall 2026 Clinical Research Course – Save the Date!


Attention investigators! Are you interested in developing your research skills with personalized training sessions from leading scientists in the field of pediatric critical care? If so, please join us for PALISI’s Clinical Research Course! Check-in and welcome reception will be on the evening of Tuesday September 8, and the course will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2025, from 8:00am - 5:30pm. This intensive workshop is designed to expose junior investigators to key components of a research career and build connections in the PALISI community. Topics will include strategies for developing your research program, cultivating collaborations, reviewing specific aims, strategies for your professional success and more! Please note that repeat course participation is encouraged!

Celebrating a Lifetime of Impact: Dr. Marie Steiner Honored with PALISI’s 2026 Jacques Lacroix Lifetime Achievement Award

 

PALISI is proud to recognize Marie Steiner, MD, MS, as the recipient of the 2026 Jacques Lacroix Lifetime Achievement Award. A pioneer in pediatric critical care hematology, Dr. Steiner has dedicated her career to advancing research and patient care while mentoring generations of clinicians and investigators. With more than 170 publications and decades of leadership across critical care and hematology, her influence continues through both her groundbreaking scholarship and the many professionals she has helped shape.

PICU Data Collaborative Annual Meeting – Open Invitation



We want YOU to join us at our first ever open session at PALISI this Fall! We are a growing team of data scientists and pediatric critical care investigators from over 20 PICUs in the U.S. with a shared database of > 290,000 PICU and CICU encounters. Join us at PALISI Wednesday, September 9th 1:30 – 5:30pm for an afternoon spent developing & getting started on new collaborative projects. No prior experience necessary, all are welcome!

NEW Morweb Functionality: PALISI Directory!


Please enjoy our new PALISI Directory which can be found within your personal account on Morweb accessed from https://www.palisi.org/membership. Once you have logged into the Member Portal, simply click on “Member Directory” and explore contact information for hundreds of your colleagues. You can search by name, institution, location, subgroup and more. This is also a good opportunity to check your own profile, and update any components that need it. You can also delete information that you’d prefer not to be shared. Only PALISI members have access to this site, and it is for their personal use only. No personal information may be shared with any other entity.



PALISI Approved Survey:Review of Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) Morbidity and Mortality Conference Practices Across Children's Hospitals



We invite PALISI members to participate in this approved survey examining current practices and approaches to Morbidity and Mortality conferences across pediatric intensive care units.
