Membership Management on Morweb – Site credits have been reset to zero!
As the last PALISI meeting in academic year 2026 has now come to a close, and the year itself only has a couple more months in it, we have completed our preparation for the start of AY2027.
All site credits have been reset to zero for the new year AY27.
Your site’s records remain visible to each site’s lead administrator. (They should also be able to see the reset in credits to zero that occurred on 5/4/2026.)
If you do not know who your administrator is (the Morweb portal should report to you who it is), or you need help changing that role to a new person, please be in touch.
Credits for AY27 are now available for purchase on the Morweb portal. For anyone with residual department/division funds from AY2026, you may now spend them on credits for AY2027.
If you have any questions about PALISI financial processes, please don’t hesitate to email admin@palisi.org. We will still be in touch about prior unpaid invoices from AY2026, so please do your best to help us get those paid as soon as possible.

Neuroprognostication Practices in Pediatric Critical Care
Dear Members of PALISI,
We are conducting a cross-sectional study (University at Buffalo IRB #STUDY00010355) to map the current landscape of neuroprognostication in pediatric neurocritical care. As a collaborative effort between pediatric critical care and child neurology, this study aims to understand and compare how different specialties weigh clinical data and neurodiagnostics when generating a prognosis for children with severe acute brain injury.
We are inviting currently practicing pediatric critical care physicians and current pediatric critical care fellows who practice in the United States to participate through PALISI, as well as child neurology senior residents/fellows and attendings through the Child Neurology Society.
The study involves a one-time, anonymous electronic survey via REDCap consisting of three clinical vignettes and questions regarding your practice. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
Participation is entirely voluntary, and no personal identifiers (such as names, emails, or IP addresses) will be collected. While there is no direct benefit to participating, your expertise will be instrumental in helping the medical community better understand how prognosis is determined, which may help identify areas for educational improvement and standardization of care.
The survey is open until June 5, 2026. Thank you for your time and contribution to this research.
Sincerely,
Sandhya Joshi, MD Pediatric Critical Care Fellow, PGY-7 University at Buffalo
Maria Wang, MD Child Neurology Resident, PGY-4 University at Buffalo
and on behalf of Jacob Anderson, MD (Pediatric Critical Care/Neurocritical Care, University at Buffalo) and Osman Farooq, MD (Child Neurology/Epilepsy, University at Buffalo)
